What counts as a client?
A client is a business you monitor — yours, or one you manage for someone else. Paid plans include up to 5 websites per client on Standard and 15 on Pro, with extra sites at $5/mo each — an agency or MSP still pays per relationship, not per URL. Firewall heartbeat endpoints are counted separately: 1, 3, or 10 per client by plan, with extra endpoints at $5/mo each on paid plans.
Is any of this intrusive to the sites being watched?
Routine monitoring is designed to be lightweight and observes from outside your network. Firewall heartbeat checks probe common ports for reachability. The Non-Intrusive Scan and Passive Web Scan are opt-in per site, use bounded checks without exploit payloads, and the Passive Web Scan additionally requires signed scope authorization with ownership affirmed.
What happens if I outgrow the free tier?
Free covers one website per client with uptime, SSL and domain watch. Upgrade a client to Standard whenever you like — its history and alerts carry over, and the security layers start on the next scheduled check.
